It’s probably safe to say that the terms have been going quickly. We’re quite sure your kids will agree because, after all, they do say that time flies when you’re having fun! It’s already the end of October, and a few weeks from now, we’ll be hosting the most anticipated end-of-the-year performance: The N2 Dance Presentation Day!

Dance Styles and Personalities

If you could choose one word to describe dancing, what would it be? For us, it would probably have to be “timeless”.

Throughout ancient history, we discover that the primary purpose of dancing was to narrate stories, including up until now, in the peak of modern technology where dance challenges are among the most popular content online, it's undeniably an activity that is loved by both the young and old.

Reasons We Love Dance

If you’re in search of a Sydney dance school that is both fun and professional, then N2 Dance Productions would be the best option. It is founded by sisters Isabella and Elysia Nikodinovski and is based in Ermington and Wentworth Point. With over 35 years of combined dance experience, the two are experts in a variety of dance techniques. They have worked with children and adults, and have mastered the art of teaching and engaging with both groups. Students are encouraged to freely express themselves and learn new ways of being creative, all while having a fun time.

Our Journey to Wentworth Point

Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library

Wentworth Point is a small up and coming community with many young families. Just like N2 Dance’s main Sydney dance studio in Ermington, Wentworth Point also falls in the local government area of City of Parramatta Council. When Issy heard the news of the new purpose-built facility, she knew it was the perfect opportunity to bring the joy of N2 Dance to this growing neighbourhood.
Wentworth Point Community Centre and Library was officially opened on 15th December 2019 by Lord Mayor Cr Bob Dwyer. Our dancers are certainly in for a treat!

The History of Dance

Ancient Indian dancing

Dance is a rhythmic movement of the body which has been an integral part of civilizations since time immemorial. Considered a popular form of art globally, dance also has symbolical and religious significance in some cultures. The history of dance is ancient and fascinating, characterized by both preservation and evolution. The earliest noted origins of dance can be found in India and Egypt. Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka, India has several paintings that are 9,000 years old, containing dancing figures. Similarly, Egyptian tomb paintings also depict dance figures that are dated at 3,300 BC.
